Services, in plain English.

We do not offer a long list. We do a small list well. Each piece below is work we have done weekly for forty years.

The list below is the work that actually fills our weeks. We do not maintain a "wealth menu" we cannot deliver on. If your circumstances need something we do not list — for example, complex Lloyd's of London underwriting, agricultural land structuring, or US-connected planning — we will tell you so plainly and recommend a firm that does it well. We would rather lose a relationship cleanly than take on work we cannot do excellently.

For every service below, the deliverable is the same: a written plan, a clear set of recommendations, the numbers behind them, and a review schedule. You can read it. Your accountant can read it. Your children, in time, can read it.

Retirement income planning

Producing a sustainable, tax-efficient income that lasts. We model your circumstances against long-life and sequencing-risk scenarios, write down the assumptions, and review annually as conditions change.

Investment management

Bespoke portfolios built around your goals, time horizons, and tax position. We invest in instruments we understand and can explain — predominantly index funds, gilts, and a small allocation to active strategies where they earn their cost.

Estate and legacy planning

How your wealth passes — to family, to spouses, to charity. Structured early, reviewed often. Wills, trusts, lifetime gifts, and the conversations with the next generation that make the planning hold up.

Inheritance tax planning

Active management of IHT exposure across the residence nil-rate band, business relief, gifts out of normal income, and pension structuring. Quantified, dated, and documented so the relief is defensible.

Intergenerational advice

Bringing your children into the conversation at the right time, on the right terms. We hold family meetings, prepare written summaries, and act as a continuity point across generations of advice.

Cashflow and goal modelling

A year-by-year picture of your wealth against your spending, your gifts, and your insurance against the unknowns. The model is the conversation; we update it together at each review.
